Greening your home is about making smart choices to reduce home energy consumption, minimize your exposure to chemicals, molds and other toxins, and reduce your impact on the Earth's fragile environment. Since it makes such good sense, green building is rapidly entering the mainstream.

Jim LaRue has many years of practical experience in helping homeowners and builders find ways to make living spaces more energy efficient, durable and healthy. He is a recognized leader in this field and helped to build the first green homes in Cleveland.

Mr. LaRue will be joined by Barbara Starre, who built a "green home" in the Medina area. She will share her experience making materials and systems choices and finding suppliers to make her home as green as possible, and how those choces have worked out for her.
