Ruth Vandersall receives Ruby Award

During the 153rd annual Jackson Day Dinner, held March 28, 2008, Ruth Vandersall was the recipient of the first Ruby Award which honors "a gem of a Democrat". Ruth is president of Wayne County Sustainable Energy Network and her work with this organization was acknowledged. The program featured both Ohio Governor Ted Strickland and Lt. Gov. Lee Fisher, and note was made that this may be the first time in the history of the state that both the Governor and Lt. Gov. were in Wayne County at the same time.
