Millersburg—The Holmes Sustainability Network has organized the next discussion on alternative transportation. The topic will be electric vehicles and electric technologies. The meeting is scheduled for 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 1st at the Holmes County Public Library in Millersburg. This event is free and open to the public. A series of short talks will be given featuring local residents with electric vehicle knowledge. Conversion of current vehicles to all electric operation, plug in hybrid and battery technology will also be discussed. In addition alternative electric vehicles such as scooters and golf carts will be discussed. Interested individuals will have the opportunity to sign on as members of a newly organized local electric car club.
